Primo Produce, founded in 1991, emerged as a business with a primary mission to support local restaurants. Over the years, this family-owned and operated business has evolved into a large enterprise, ingrained in the heart of Pennsylvania. Thousands of different items from all over the world arrive daily, quickly making their way to a wide variety of customers including food service providers, supermarkets and food management companies.

We specialize in building customized large volume programs in our cut shop, Kalibee’s, which is a state-of-the-art facility focused on premium quality and food safety. It allows us to customize the freshest produce to our customers immediate needs. We service distributors, institutions, manufacturers and retailers to provide fresh produce that is sliced, diced and packaged to each business’ exact specifications.
We have proudly partnered with Paxos Foods—a commercial kitchen that is transforming large-scale cooking by combining innovative techniques with modern technology. From meal kits to corporate catering and bulk cooking, Paxos Foods’ creates fresh, high-quality prepared foods with exciting flavors.
Our roots lie in distribution, and it remains the core of our business. We proudly extend our reach from North to Boston, South to Virginia, and West to Pittsburgh. With our own fleet of vehicles, we ensure prompt and reliable delivery, coupled with a range of services including cross-docking, forward warehousing, and LTL solutions.
