Primo Produce is searching for full-time fresh produce Prep & Pack Associates on night shift in our refrigerated Fresh Produce processing department. Paid training provided.

Schedule: Sun to Thur, 8:00 pm start time (overtime and holiday work as required by the business)

Responsibilities: Prepare, wash, cut, peel, weigh, portion and pack fresh produce (fruits and vegetables) using professional grade kitchen knives and other kitchen tools and processing equipment. Follow strict food safety practices, clean/sanitize equipment and work areas to meet regulated food compliance standards and perform other responsibilities as requested by shift leaders and Management.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Able to work in a refrigerated environment year-round (36 degrees).
• Able to stand for most of the shift and use both hands.
• Must possess basic knife skills (cut, chop, slice…etc).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently.
• Understanding of food sanitation/cleanliness is required.
• Prior experience in a food processing environment is a plus.
• Reliability and excellent attendance is required for success.
• Great communication and teamwork skills are a must.
• Work with the team to ensure consistent quality, service and cleanliness.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
